“God doesn’t like ugly.”

I actually plan to respond to the round of emergence/memory comments on the previous post, but for now, here’s some lovely reading for you: a Boston Review article about how bureaucrats at the VA don’t believe in PTSD and think soldiers who suffer it should find Jesus. Not even going to try to excerpt it — it’s not that long, you can read the whole thing. And you should.
